WEDDING FAQ
-
My wedding collections start at $1,200 for the Solo Collection and $3,000 for the Premiere Collection, which includes a second photographer.
Most couples book an eight hour, two photographer day at $4,000. Video, albums, engagement sessions, prints, and rehearsal coverage are available as add-ons.
For context, wedding photographers across Los Angeles and Orange County typically run $5,000 to $12,000. I've kept my pricing below that on purpose. I work as a solo studio without the overhead a larger operation carries, and that difference goes to you.
What you get is one photographer who knows your names, your timeline, and what matters to you, from the first call to the day your gallery arrives.
Every quote is built around your actual day, not a template. Reach out and I'll put together something specific to your timeline.
-
It depends on where your day starts and where you want it to end.
Three hours is the minimum for the Solo Collection and Six hours is the minimum for the Premiere Collection.
Most couples underestimate the beginning of the day and overestimate the end. The getting ready and first look moments are often the ones people love most in the gallery. The last hour of a reception photographs a lot like the hour before it.
Send me your timeline and I'll tell you where I'd start and stop if it were my wedding.
-
Solo Collection starts at $1,200. Three to five hours of coverage with me as your only photographer, $400 for each additional hour. Best for intimate weddings, elopements, and shorter timelines.
Premiere Collection starts at $3,000. Six to ten hours with me plus a second photographer, $500 for each additional hour. This is the right fit for most full wedding days.
Both include a sneak peek the day after your wedding, your full gallery within four weeks, an online gallery with a print store, and a print release.
Video add-ons are available on the Premiere Collection. Engagement sessions can be added to either, and booking one with your wedding takes $100 off.

Yes, and often.
I've photographed many denominations and churches like Catholic, Baptist, non-denominational, Presbyterian all across Los Angeles and Orange County.
Church weddings, like catholic ceremonies, come with their own set of rules, and I know how to work inside them. Some parishes restrict where I can stand. Some don't allow flash during the ceremony. Some ask that I stay behind a certain line entirely. I reach out to your officiant or coordinator ahead of time so those conversations happen before your wedding day, not during it.
My own faith in Jesus is a real part of who I am, and I understand that for many couples the ceremony isn't the part of the day you get through on the way to the reception. It's the point of the whole thing and I photograph it that way.

Yes!
Some of my favorite work has been for micro weddings on a bluff or courthouse. As fun as large weddings are, there’s something truly special about micro weddings that can’t be beat. The Solo Collection was built for exactly this. Three to five hours is usually plenty for a courthouse ceremony, a small dinner after, and portraits in between.
Smaller doesn't mean less. It usually means more of the day is actually yours, and the photographs tend to feel more authentic, beautiful, and meaningful because everyone in the frame is someone who matters to you. Plus, it is usually a more relaxed vibe and gives you more time to spend with each other for a meaningful portrait session.
Tell me what you're planning and I'll tell you honestly how much coverage you need.
-
I use AI-assisted software for the tedious parts of editing. My editing software groups thousands of images by scene and lets me filter quickly so nothing gets missed. From there I apply a color profile I trained myself on my own work, which gives me a consistent starting point rather than a finished product.
Then I go through your gallery by hand.
The software also runs locally on my computer, not in the cloud, so your images never leave my hands.
These tools don't replace the art. They clear the busywork so I can spend my time on the parts of editing that actually require an eye and human touch.
-
My style blends documentary awareness with refined editorial composition.
I focus on real, unscripted emotion when moments unfold. I also can’t help but throw in a few elegant portraits. In your gallery, you’ll receive images that feel natural and honest, but thoughtfully composed and visually elevated.
The goal is timeless work that will feel just as meaningful decades from now as it does today.
-
Yes, and I'd argue one photographer does it better.
Some couples hire two photographers to get two different looks. The trouble is you end up with two galleries stitched together. Different color, different instincts, different sense of when to step in and when to disappear and what to prioritize.
That's also why my team and I are the sole professional photographers at your wedding. I don't work alongside outside photographers, and additional professional photographers can't be brought in by you, your family, guests or another vendor. If you want something specific added, drone coverage or film alongside digital, I'll bring in someone from my team to cover it. This is written into your contract agreement as well.
This isn't about territory. It's about one person being responsible for your gallery, one plan for the day, and one great experience.
-
Yes. Every image in your gallery is color corrected and finished by hand so the whole day looks like it belongs together, from morning window light to a dim reception and grand exit.
On closer images during key moments, I'll do some lite retouching like cleaning up a blemish, soften skin, removing distractions like the exit sign behind your head etc. What I won't do is reshape you or alter your appearance. Skin still looks like skin, and you still look like the person your family recognizes and loves.
Each wedding collection includes 10 advanced retouched images that you choose yourself after seeing your gallery. Most couples pick a portrait or two and a moment that mattered. Additional advanced retouching is $20 per image.
My whole approach comes down to three things. Remove what distracts, refine what's there, and preserve what's real.
-
Yes, and you should assume I will.
I'll put you where the light is good, adjust a hand or a chin, tell you to shift your weight…small things like that. And I say them out loud and while we work so you're never guessing what to do. Once you're set, I’ll stop talking and let the moment unfold naturally.
-
Almost every couple tells me this, usually in the first five minutes of our call.
You don't need modeling experience. You need to show up and be yourselves, and I'll handle the rest.
I give direction where it helps, then get out of the way so you can actually interact and have a moment with each other. That's where the best images come from. Most couples forget the camera is there about ten minutes in, and the ones who swore they weren't photogenic are usually the ones texting me the day after about how amazing they look.

Yes, as add-ons to the Premiere Collection.
Social Media Teaser, $700. A 30 second to one minute edit built for sharing.
Highlight Film, $3,900. A three to five minute cinematic film covering your full day, shot with a two person video crew.
Documentary Add-On, $1,400. Full ceremony and reception coverage, roughly an hour of footage, added to the Highlight Film.
The Highlight and Documentary together run $5,300, which is the best value if you want both the film and the full record.
Photo and video are coordinated as one team, which means one set of directions on your wedding day instead of two vendors competing for your attention.

Absolutely! I’ve had MANY scenarios that were...well, not optimal…
Whether it’s harsh mid day light, a dim reception hall, or a parking garage, I’m comfortable working in any setting. I come prepared with the equipment and technical knowledge needed to ensure your images remain clean and intentional no matter where we are or what time of day it is.
-
Yes, on most weddings. A second photographer is included in the Premiere Collection.
Two cameras means the aisle and your faces at the same time, both reactions during the toast, and someone on the groom while I'm with the bride. It also means that if anything happened to me mid-day, there's already a capable photographer standing nearby ready with a camera.
-
Rather than chasing a specific number, I focus on delivering a carefully curated gallery that fully tells the story of your day.
Every image delivered has intention behind it. Quality and completeness matter more than volume.
But usually it’s around 75-100 or so per hour.
-
Sneak peek highlights are delivered the day after your wedding and your full gallery is delivered within four weeks.
-
Most couples reserve their date 9–12 months in advance, especially for spring and fall weddings which are the busiest seasons.
Because I take on a limited number of weddings each year, availability is intentional. If you feel aligned with my work, I recommend reaching out as soon as your date is set.
-
I have never missed a wedding, and I have systems and photographer friends in place to cover me so that I won't.
If something catastrophic happened, I'm connected to a network of photographers across Los Angeles and Orange County through the studios I shoot for, and I would personally arrange a qualified replacement at no additional cost to you. Your files would still be edited and delivered by me.
This is also part of why I recommend a second photographer for larger weddings. If anything happened to me mid-day, someone capable is already there with a camera in their hands and can get the job done.
Your contract spells all of this out in writing.
-
I happily serve couples of all gender identities, cultural backgrounds, and faith traditions. My own faith in Jesus shapes how I see people and how I treat them, and that's exactly why everyone who reaches out gets the same care and the same welcome.
If you've been wondering whether you'd have to explain yourselves to me or my team, you won't. You are loved.
-
Because it is the only part of your wedding day that becomes more valuable with time.
The flowers fade. The food is gone. The music ends. The venue resets.
Yet your photographs remain.
They become how you remember the day and how future generations will see it.
-
Yes, through the Social Media Teaser add-on at $700 with the wedding video collection, which gets you a short vertical edit made for Instagram and TikTok.
For photos, your sneak peek with the highlights of your day arrive in your inbox the day after your wedding, which is usually what couples want for posting anyway.
I'm not a content creator but if you’d like a content creator, I’d be happy to refer you to some of my favorites.
-
You receive a print release with every gallery, which means you can print your images wherever you'd like and share them freely.
I retain the copyright, which is standard, and I'll occasionally ask about using an image for my portfolio or website. If you'd rather I didn't, just say so. Your privacy is important to me and if you don’t want your photos shared it’s no problem. It’s always your call.
Your gallery also connects directly to a professional print lab with archival papers. Drugstore kiosks will fade in a decade. These won't.

Start by reaching out through the inquiry form on the contact page. From there, we’ll schedule a conversation to discuss your vision, timeline, and coverage needs.
Then, I’ll send over a project proposal and then your date is secured with a signed agreement and retainer.
